I build tools that answer money questions people cannot answer for themselves. This site exists because the paycheck calculators already out there share a habit that bothered me: they show a number without saying where it came from, and a surprising share of those numbers are out of date.
My background is SEO and content in finance and economics. The same instinct runs through this site: make an opaque system legible, and show the source for every figure.
Everything here is calculated deterministically and checked against the document that sets the rule: the IRS for federal figures, each state revenue department for withholding, each city or county for local taxes. Where a figure could not be verified, the page says so.
Verifiable identity
ORCID 0009-0004-4222-6355 (https://orcid.org/0009-0004-4222-6355), LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/in/pablo-ruiz-quintero-b0733615a/). The photograph is a real one. The site is operated from Spain; the jurisdiction is published because it is the part that is true and checkable, and a postal address would be invented.
How I work
Every figure I publish is read in the document that sets it and dated; the methodology page describes the whole loop, the sources page lists every parameter, and the corrections page lists what I got wrong and when. I answer discrepancy reports myself. I do not accept payment for placing a product, and the business page says what the site does sell.
