The most useful message you can send is a discrepancy: your stub says one thing, the calculator another. Every one is checked against the source, and what comes of it is published on the corrections page.
What helps
For a discrepancy: the state, the line (federal, Social Security, Medicare, state, local, net), the figure on your stub and the figure the calculator showed, and the inputs — salary or rate and hours, frequency, filing status, W-4 steps, pre-tax deductions, year-to-date wages. Never send account numbers, your Social Security number or a scan of the stub; the figures are enough. The stub checker names the largest gap and its likely cause before you write.
What happens next
Discrepancy reports are stored with the page, state, line and figures, checked against the primary document, and answered; if the site was wrong, the correction is published with the date. Corrections to text or sources are handled the same way. Questions about a paycheck get an answer where one can be given without advice; the site does not give tax advice. Business enquiries are answered by the author.
If the form is unavailable on this deployment it says so and shows the address: hola@prqdigital.com.
