Pay stub generator

Enter the pay, the state, the frequency and the names; the stub is generated from the engine and printed in the standard layout. The taxes cannot be typed, because a stub with typed taxes is a forgery.

What this calculator does not do

  • State disability and paid-leave lines.
  • Local taxes (use the main calculator with a city selected).
  • Hourly pay with overtime (use the hourly calculator’s stub).

Your stub says something else? Report a discrepancy: it is checked against the source and answered on the corrections page.

How the generator works

It runs the calculator for the salary, frequency, state, filing status and deductions you enter and prints the result in the stub layout with the names you give. Every figure is the 2026 engine's; nothing is invented and nothing can be edited by hand, which is the point: a generated stub that lets you type the taxes is a forgery kit, and this one is not. The print marks the stub as computed at calculatepaycheck.net.

Legitimate uses

A self-employed person paying themselves a salary and keeping records. A household employer paying a nanny or carer without payroll software. A worker reconstructing a lost stub to check a W-2. A student learning what the lines mean. Anything presented to a lender or landlord as an employer's record when it is not is fraud, and lenders check.

Questions

Is the generated stub valid proof of income?
No. It is a computed illustration marked as such. Proof of income is an employer’s payroll record; presenting a generated stub as one is fraud.
Why can I not edit the tax lines?
Because a generator that lets you type the taxes exists to produce false documents. Here every figure is the engine’s.
Who is this for?
Self-employed people paying themselves, household employers, workers reconstructing a lost stub, students.
